ADIDAS

The role for this position is for Adidas Digital Studio. My goal is to connect all platforms and have a perfect understanding on how the design can improve the user journeys & the user experience. We can find different ways of communicating processes & other guidance over copy.

The focus is on StudioA guidance, which is Sharepoint platform that contains training and communication  materials, onboarding and off-boarding, holidays requests and more information.

 

Brand Direction is also another platform (Zero height) in which you can find all the material for campaigns and how does Adidas work. Basically, all the entire blueprint in this platform.

 

I’m on lead of the design of both internal platforms which communicate to all the employees the new interests and guidance of Adidas.

Intro

My task involves the process of creating a visually appealing and user-friendly interface that aligns with the SharePoint platform's capabilities and the specific needs of the organisation.

Sharepoint

These are the key steps implemented in the development of SharePoint: 

  1. Understand User Requirements: Identify their goals, needs, and pain points related to using SharePoint. Conduct user research, surveys, and interviews to gain insights into their preferences and expectations.
     

  2. Define Information Architecture: Create a well-organised information architecture that structures content and functionality in a logical and intuitive manner. Determine the site hierarchy, navigation menus, and categorisation of content based on user needs. 
     

  3. Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualise the layout and functionality of key SharePoint pages. 
     

  4. Visual Design: Create a visually appealing design that aligns with the organisation's brand guidelines.
     

  5. Usability and Accessibility: Focus on usability and accessibility considerations to ensure that the SharePoint interface is easy to use for all users.
     

  6. Test and Iterate: Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from end-users to identify any usability issues or areas for improvement.
     

  7. Implementation and Integration: Collaborate with developers and SharePoint administrators to ensure smooth implementation of the UX/UI design.
     

  8. Ongoing Maintenance: Regularly review and maintain the SharePoint UX/UI design to accommodate evolving user needs and changes in the organisation.

Brand direction

These are my tasks during the development of Brand Direction: 

  1. User Research: Conduct user research activities such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs, behaviours, and preferences. Gather insights that inform the design decisions.
     

  2. User Personas: Create user personas, which are fictional representations of target users, based on research findings. Personas help designers empathise with users and design for their specific goals and characteristics.
     

  3. User Flows: Map out user flows to visualise the steps users take to complete tasks or achieve their goals within a product or website. Identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
     

  4. Information Architecture: Develop the information architecture, including site maps and navigation structures, to organise content and ensure it is easily discoverable and accessible to users.
     

  5. Visual Design: Apply visual design principles to create visually appealing interfaces that align with the brand identity. Define the color palette, typography, iconography, and graphical elements to enhance the user experience.
     

  6. Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing sessions with representative users to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the design. Gather feedback and insights to identify areas of improvement and validate design decisions.
